Always his biggest critic, Aziz Ansari took the mic in his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live last night to take aim at President Trump.
He lets rip at the racist Trump voters who voted to spite minorities, and pleads with the closet racists to remain closeted. He suggests that white Trump supporters need a healthy dose of good Muslims living their quiet lives to accompany the fear-mongering of the late-night news reports.
Referencing the Women’s March that took place in cities all over the globe yesterday, he reassured that the people who are dismayed by Trump’s inauguration aren’t in the minority.
“If you look at our country’s history, change doesn’t come from presidents. Change comes from large groups of angry people. And if day one is any indication, you are part of the largest group of angry people I have ever seen.”
